 JOHN NIX PURDOM
In 1998, John joined The Murray Insurance Agency and
now serves as its Vice President. John is a 1987
graduate of The University of Alabama. In 2001, John
attained the CIC designation from The National Alliance
for Insurance Education and Research. CIC stands for
Certified Insurance Counselor and is recognized
throughout the industry as the designation of a true
professional.
John is licensed for Property & Casualty and Life &
Health. John's focus is personal and commercial
insurance.
John is active in the community having served on The
Board of Directors of the Calloway County Chapter of
The American Red Cross for the past eight years and
currently serving as Vice-Chair of that board. John, a
1996 graduate of Leadership Murray, is involved in
Lions club as well as having served on the Board of
Directors of The Murray Country Club and the
Administrative Board of The First United Methodist
Church of Murray.
John and his wife Sherry are members of The First
United Methodist Church of Murray. He has two
daughters, Chandler and Meredith. When John is not
writing that large personal lines account, he enjoys
spending time with his family, golfing and watching
football....Roll Tide!
